Construction and exterior projects must be reviewed and approved by the Environmental Control Committee before the project starts. Submitting complete paperwork helps prevent delays.

ECC Approval Process
The following paperwork is required to be presented to the Environmental Control Committee before beginning any construction.
Complete the Correct Packet
The appropriate building packet must be completed in full for the proposed project.
Include a Plat of Survey
A plat of survey is required, with the addition or construction clearly drawn on the plat.
Submit by the Deadline
All paperwork for proposed projects must be submitted to the office no later than the Monday prior to the scheduled ECC meeting.
ECC Review
Unless otherwise posted, the Environmental Control Committee meets the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM in the Association Office.
Submission Checklist
Before turning in your paperwork, review these common items that help the ECC process move smoothly.
Dog Run Rule Update
Approved and motion passed at the March 9, 2024 Board of Directors meeting.
Size and Height
- Not to exceed 2,000 sq. ft.
- Not to exceed 4 feet in height
Placement
- Cannot proceed past the front of the house
- Must remain within the setbacks as established in the Covenants
Materials
- No solid fencing of any kind
- No color restrictions
- Materials include wood, PVC, and chain-link
Fuel Tanks
Per Article 7.06 of the Covenants, every tank for the storage of fuel installed outside any building in the Development shall be either buried below the surface of the ground or screened, to the satisfaction of the Environmental Control Committee, by fencing or shrubbery.
Acceptable Screen Types
- Fencing with wood or lattice
- Shrubbery at least 4 feet high when installing
Screening Size
- 8 feet long
- 4 1/2 feet wide at the end of the tank
Post Size
- Posts can be 2x4 or 4x4
