Swimming Pool Facility

Splash into fun! Our state-of-the-art swimming pool facility was built in 2016 and has been a huge hit with our members and their guests.

The facility includes large changing rooms with showers, a spacious deck area with chairs and loungers, a covered picnic area with vending machines, a children's pool, and a large L-shaped main pool with a diving board and slide.

Hours of Operation

The current season's hours of operation are posted below. Inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances that alter these hours will be posted on the Association Facebook page and at the front Gate.

Check-in Process

A guest or frequent guest must have the member present and in person at the pool for the guest to obtain entrance to the pool. The Member must show proof of membership with a valid ID. The Guest will have free use of the pool once they have been checked in by the member; the member is not required to be present at the pool once the guest has been properly checked in.

Changing Rooms

Large changing rooms with showers help make pool visits easier and more comfortable.

Deck Seating

A spacious deck area includes chairs and loungers for relaxing between swims.

Covered Picnic Area

A covered picnic area with vending machines gives members and guests a place to take a break.

Posted Rules

Please review these rules before using the swimming facility.

General Safety

  • All swimming at Lake Wildwood is done at your own risk.
  • No one should swim alone.
  • Swimming is prohibited when lightning is present and for thirty minutes after the last lightning is observed.
  • Parents or guardians must supervise their children.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied at all times by a responsible person who is at least 18 years of age.
  • Children 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a responsible person who is at least 18 years of age when no lifeguard is present.

Facility Expectations

  • All persons having any contagious disease or infectious conditions are prohibited from using the pool.
  • All children not toilet trained must have three layers of protection: swim diapers, plastic or rubber pants, and a lined bathing suit.
  • All persons are required to shower before entering the pool area.
  • Proper swimwear is required. No street clothes or shoes are allowed in the pool.
  • Avoid swallowing pool water.
  • Littering is prohibited. Trash receptacles are available in the pool area.

Not Permitted

  • No food or drink is allowed between the pool and the deck drain, other than bottled water for lifeguards on duty.
  • Glass containers are prohibited. Violators will be charged $50 per glass container.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, and gum are prohibited in the pool facility.
  • No running, boisterous behavior, or rough play is permitted.
  • No loud music.
  • No electronic equipment is allowed in the water.

Swimmers and Equipment

  • Members and guests who are unable to swim proficiently and keep their airway above water without assistance are required to stay in the shallow end of the pool.
  • Diving and jumping into the pool is allowed from the diving board only.
  • No toys, balls, rafts, or noodles are permitted in the pools.
  • PFDs such as life vests and swimmies may be worn.
  • Lake Wildwood Association is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen property.
  • All personal locks must be removed from lockers each day by closing time.

Use of Slide

  • Only one person at a time is allowed to ride the slide.
  • Parent or guardian may not ride the slide with a child on their lap.
  • All riders must face forward.
  • Weight limit is 325 lbs.
  • No adults on the slide.
  • Children under 48 inches tall must be supervised at all times when using the slide.
  • No more than two people on the ladder at a time.

Use of Diving Board

  • Diving is not permitted in water less than 5 feet deep.
  • Only one person may be on the diving board at any time.
  • Weight limit is 225 lbs.
  • Do not run on the diving board.
  • Do not walk backwards on the diving board.
  • Do not dive from the side of the diving board.
  • Make sure water in front of the diving board is clear of swimmers before diving.
